My Position on National Security
Having been deployed on three combat tours in the U.S. Army, I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It is the duty of Congress to provide for the common defense of the United States and ensure that America’s uniformed men and women receive the best support possible to carry out their mission to keep us safe. I am committed to ensuring that our armed forces, intelligence services, and federal law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to be efficient, ready, and lethal in this era of unprecedented threat and uncertainty. America must face, overcome, and win against these unprecedented threats, uncertainties, and complex operating environments. I am committed to ensuring that America can counter our adversaries in a seamless, efficient, and effective manner by utilizing all of America’s instruments of power and the “whole of government”.
