Rep. Nehls Releases Statement on Texas AG's Investigation into Texas Bar Foundation

RICHMOND, TX –Congressman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX-22) released a statement on the launch of Texas Attorney General (AG) Ken Paxton's investigation into the Texas Bar Foundation following a complaint Congressman Nehls submitted to the Texas AG office regarding allegations that the organization is using taxpayer funds to make charitable contributions to entities that encourage, participate in, and fund illegal immigration.

"I am pleased that Texas AG Ken Paxton is leading the charge to expose the Texas Bar Foundation's role in the border crisis," said Congressman Nehls. "The people of Texas need to know if their Bar Foundation is using taxpayer dollars to aid and abet illegal immigration—and if they are, we will put an end to it."
