Internships

My Washington, D.C., and Fulshear District Offices are now accepting intern applications for our paid 2026 Summer Internship Program. This full-time opportunity is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent college graduates who are interested in gaining firsthand experience in public service. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are strongly encouraged.

Interns in Washington, D.C. will serve Texas’s 22nd Congressional District from our nation’s capital (housing is the responsibility of the intern), gain exposure to the legislative process, and lead Capitol tours while sharing the history of the building with constituents. District interns will take on a wide range of responsibilities, from assisting constituents to supporting community outreach, offering a unique, hands-on look at the inner workings of a congressional office.
