Rep Nehls: Service Academy Nominations Now Open to Class of 2027

Richmond, TX – Congressman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX-22) announced the opening of U.S. Service Academy Nominations for the High School Graduating Class of 2023. Each year, Members of Congress can nominate outstanding young men and women to be considered for appointment by one of the esteemed United States service academies.

“One of my greatest honors in Congress is having the ability to nominate a future leader to one of our nation’s highly-respected military academies,” said Congressman Nehls. “As someone who served in the U.S. military, I can tell you there is no greater privilege than heeding the call to service and taking the oath to serve your country. I encourage all graduating seniors who have interest in representing Texas 22nd Congressional District and our nation at one of the U.S. service academies to reach out to my office to learn more about the nomination process.”

To be considered for a nomination, all required materials must be submitted to Congressman Nehls’ office by October 7, 2022. Applications can be sent through the website portal HERE, late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
