Rep. Troy E. Nehls Introduces Bill to Expedite the Removal of Illegal Aliens from the U.S.
WASHINGTON, D.C. —Today, Congressman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX-22) introduced the Rapid Expulsion of Migrant Offenders who Violate and Evade (REMOVE) Act. This legislation would conclude removal proceedings for illegal aliens within 15 days after such proceedings are commenced. Senator Marsha Blackburn previously introduced the REMOVE Act in the United States Senate.
“Millions of illegal aliens invaded our homeland under the Biden Administration, bringing with them crime and destruction,” said Congressman Nehls. “Due to the failed leadership of President Biden and his administration, gang members, cartel members, and violent criminal illegal aliens are living in our country and pose a direct threat to the safety of the American people. My legislation, the REMOVE Act, will help deliver President Trump’s mass deportation operation by giving the Trump Administration the ability to get these bad hombres off our streets at record speed. The Trump Administration should have every tool at its disposal to restore our national sovereignty.”
Cosponsors of the REMOVE Act include Representatives Barry Moore and Brandon Gill.

The REMOVE Act would:
- Require the timely removal proceedings of illegal aliens who have been served with a Notice to Appear (NTA).
- Require the U.S. Attorney General to conclude removal proceedings for illegal aliens within 15 days after such proceedings are commenced.
