Today, Congressman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX-22) released the following statement after voting NO on the Motion to Vacate U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy:

“Today, I voted to keep Kevin McCarthy as the Speaker of the House,” said Congressman Nehls. “I agree with President Trump that right now, House Republicans should be focused on stopping the radical Democrats. The House should be focused on continuing the much-needed investigations into the Biden Crime Family and passing the 8 remaining individual spending bills to ensure that our federal government is fully funded to work for the American people. Let’s get back to work.”
