As a Member of the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure, I understand that infrastructure investment is critical to Texas’ 22nd Congressional District, Texas, and our nation. My work on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee gives me the opportunity to focus on numerous issues such as highway development, national security, and flood risk management. Smartly addressing transportation challenges in forward-thinking and innovative ways remains one of the most important issues as our district continues to experience tremendous growth.

A group of bipartisan House lawmakers sent a letter Friday to the Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Jen Easterly, calling for an investigation into concerns regarding recent reporting that says hackers affiliated with a Chinese state-sponsored threat actor possibly infiltrated at least two dozen critical transportation infrastructure entities throughout 2023.
